When I was a child I saw my parents and had free will at the same time. My free will got me in trouble a lot.
How is it any different with a god? I would still have free will if he was standing in front of me.
Only if you were so unlucky to live in Palestine around 5 B.C.- 30 A.D. did God figure out he could reveal himself and still allow people to have their freedom. Oh, and if you have ever witnessed a miracle (which, conveniently and/or suspiciously, only believers seem to witness). Other than that, God must stay hidden to maintain our "free will"!
Dirch's argument: "If evidence actually supported my beliefs, you would discredit them anyway. Therefore, evidence isn't really important."
