White Privlige and Ignoring the Problem

One huge issue with this is that there are a number of white people (especially old people and middle/upper class people) who, for reasons I don't quite get, don't really consider people who aren't white and male to be "people". I don't know if they realise that, but there you go. Until other races are considered people, there will be the problem of "White Privilege". If you're a white man you're more likely to get a good job, more likely to be promoted at any job you do get, more likely to get into a good university, more likely to win an election, more likely to be approved for a loan or a credit card, less likely to be stopped and searched by police, less likely to be arrested, less likely to be found guilty in court, and if you are found guilty you're more likely to get a lower sentence, than anyone else. Oh, and if you're a white man in the US you can shoot a black person and many people will think the very idea of arresting and investigating you for murder is absurd, as if you just shot a deer or something.

I really don't know what we can do about the issue, but education would be good. Getting rid of "Black History Month" and just include it in normal history classes at any time of year could be helpful. I understand why BHM exists, but all it seems to do is make racists cry "WHY ISN'T THERE A WHITE HISTORY MONTH!" as if that's not what the other 11 months of the year are, and that really doesn't help.

I hate the whole thing and just don't see why people can't just all be treated the same, regardless of race, gender or ability.
