Germany itself was never the real problem. One single man, who fooled the masses, was the problem, however.

No, the stupid German masses who created their leader were the problem.

I'd say the Treaty of Versailles had a lot more to do with the rise of Nazi Germany than any weakness of the German people themselves. I mean, if you look at Germany today, the country is in better shape than us, economically speaking, and much more politically moderate.
