Ah, yes... they passed up modern medical science which has a proven track record of success in favor of performing a superstitious ritual which has no proven record of success. And their daughter paid the price. Morons. They may as well have hired a witch doctor to dance around the stricken girl and shake a rattle. I'm sure it would have been as effective as the prayers.
