Is there any benefit to raw milk vs pasteurized milk?

Well, judging from what I know about nutrition, vegan diets have amazing cholesterol compared to the average American diet. Our diet is pretty darn heavy in meats, which tends to contribute to a high-fat, high-cholesterol diet. Yep, vegans tend to have a lower fat diet than us, too. But, these are all generalizations and I'm sure there are individuals who don't exactly conform to norms.

I think that is why I have a hard time with this "vegan diet thingy" in Oz we don't eat nearly as much meat or fats or flour or sugar as Americans are purported to. Yet there are those who look like tele-tubbies and they are on either vegetarian or high veggies diets and their cholesterol levels are just perfect, yet they are rather on the obese side of weight. There is more happening here than just food intake

Yeah, I'm afraid I don't know enough about every regional diet to give facts and figures on all of them; I only really know the American diet that well. However, I have heard that east Asian diets tend to be pretty low in meat and they seem to be healthy enough that China is the most nation on earth. They also tend to be lactose intolerant, so they can do it without heavy use of milk, too.
