Yeah, I'm afraid I don't know enough about every regional diet to give facts and figures on all of them; I only really know the American diet that well. However, I have heard that east Asian diets tend to be pretty low in meat and they seem to be healthy enough that China is the most nation on earth. They also tend to be lactose intolerant, so they can do it without heavy use of milk, too.
