I really like Friends but I can see how other people would find it annoying or dislikable. (I find Phoebe annoying quite a bit, but oddly Ross is kind of endearing to me, but maybe I identify with his super nerdy side.)

I was confused by the UK Office, too, then I figured that it wasn't really a laugh-out-loud type comedy, more like a dark or tragic comedy or a very dry satire. It took me quite a few episodes to even start thinking that Ricky Gervais character was anything other than supremely asinine. Then he started being kind of funny.
I found it to be kind of similar to real life in a way - when you start a new job and you don't really understand your new coworkers' senses of humor or the office politics yet, but after a couple months it starts making sense.

What I've seen of South Park (which amounts to a grand total of the Mormons episode "dum-dum-dum-dum-dum!!") I thought it was funny, but it was never a show I cared to watch.

I don't understand Tim Allen's new show where he's an angry father of three daughters who works in a sporting goods store and bitches about his life on a video blog or something... I don't even know if it's still on the air.
Never saw Two Broke Girls, never want to.
Ditto with Two and A Half Men.
I was too young for Seinfeld; the only episode I remember watching was the finale because everyone was saying it was epic and you had to watch it... I didn't understand it and didn't think it was funny.
