Darwin was well known to have lost his Christian faith when his daughter Annie died, and he accepted a form of atheistic agnosticism. He didn't recant on his deathbed, and according to his family, he died a non-believer.
Listen to how you defend. You wouldn't hear me defending Jerry Fallwell or Pat Robertson like that.
