A country is either born an abomination, or becomes an abomination by its own doing.
America is both.
Though as I have said before, America will live for at least a while longer.

America has a number of cancerous tumors within itself, who will eat the country inside out. And well, if it won't be treated with some serious Chemotherapy, America will eventually succumb to the cancer. Right now, its being given morphine to dull the pain that the growths cause.

Hmmm, I didn't ask for a reiteration of your opinion of America. So let me try this again:
Why was America born an abomination?

The fact that America lacks a common identity that the country is based on is enough I'd say. Tax-evasion, the reason for the war of independence of America.

We're a nation of rebellious people. I can see how he would think that cancerous.

I'd say you're quite the conformists when things are going your way. The only time you rebel is when you are taxed a bit more than usual, or when you're taxed at all.

He's probably going to say something like we lost our nationalistic feeling toward our mother country, England. He seems to hold that nationalistic crap in high regard.

No, its not about that, so did the Irish. But Ireland is a nation that is united under a common heritage, history and culture, albeit they lost their language, they successfully resisted assimilation mainly because of their lasting faith and love for their roots.
