As a side note, if you are presenting facts per your example above, I may disagree at first but that would be due to my lack of knowledge. I can verify what you are telling me since it's factual. Religion isn't about finding facts, it is about believing in a fantasy, one that sometimes serves a person as a buffer to reality.
When you turn off religion, reality is always there. Should be considered an illegal substance considering all the damage it does. lol
We were posting at the same time lol I replied before I saw this reply of yours.
But to answer your question, Christians are guessing as to why she has this condition. To say they know why, is arrogant, (and ignorant) when they don't know why. Religion isn't a get out of jail free card, discipulus. lol I expect when someone uses it to verify something else that they back up their assertions with facts.
Christianity wasn't built on facts.

Aw, you know the rest. lol
No, Deidre. Answer the question.
If I state that Washington D.C. is the capital city of the United States and that all the other cities of the United States do not qualify to be called the capital city of the United States, and I then go on to say that anyone who disagrees with this is wrong, would you consider me to be arrogant for stating the truth?
Yes or no?
If I say that 2+2 is four and that anyone who disagrees with me is wrong, would you consider me to be arrogant for stating the truth?
I think you get my point. You are a smart woman.
If a Christian says that this woman's condition is a result of being born into a fallen, sinful, dying world, and that this sin owes its existence to the choice of free creatures, and if this is true, then why would you consider it arrogant for a Christian to state the truth and also state that anyone who disagrees is wrong?
Why would that be arrogant?
