I'd be willing to bet that today's country music is all written by the same corporation that runs Fox. That, and of course it's nothing but pop with an exaggerated annoying twang.
There's some decent country out there, just like there's some dubstep out there that doesn't make me want to stab myself in the ears with a fucking coconut. There's also some good rap and to be honest, bluegrass musicians are some of the most talented players in the world.
It's all about finding good music, period. It's out there, and in every genre. You have to stop letting pop culture define your tastes.
But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret is as though it had an underlying truth.
