While science may not explain everything, it does a vastly better job than any religion. Faith is just another way of saying "pretending to know".
So, you are saying "Not everything can be explained scientifically, especially when it comes to pretending to know things." Absolutely true. Science doesn't pretend to know things, yet religion does. Faith = pretending to know. If you had evidence, you might actually know something.
If Jesus truly changed anyone's lives for the better, that would show up in statistics, now wouldn't it? And yet, it doesn't. Not at all. Maybe Jeebs like Norway, Denmark and Sweden more than much of Africa, the Philippines, and Mississippi?
