My sister and her family lived in Birmingham not long ago. I wonder if they'd know anything about it. My mom has always been against mixed marriages, despite that the more diverse the gene pool, the better any population is. She talks about needing to keep family history pure or something. I never bought into that.

Well, I have to agree, though the fact that Japanese and Chinese do not intermarry(not even among eachother) is no real support for their high IQ's(which I think is disputable).
However, this does not suggest that I am for intermarriages, I do as a matter of fact, think that in today's world, intermarriages are a fine way to destroy cultures, by corrupting the identity of an offspring.
And to be honest, more genetical diversity does not equal better offspring.

But in countries like America, where people don't possess real identities beyond their skin color, sure. Let them have their mulattos in abundance, hell if I care.
