Dark matter is composed of weakly interacting massive particles. They are suspected to have influence in expanding our universe because their aggregate interactions affect things on a galactic scale despite their individual weakness.
It is known that neutrinos help alpha radiation progress. It may be discovered that these WIMPs have hitherto unknown affects.
Why are massive particles only weekly interactive? What do you mean neutrinos aid in alpha radition progress? You mean they push them through space? Or help them get a job?
Because they are non-baryonic matter?
Neutrinos are part of the alpha radiation processes - they interact (very rarely) with unstable nuclei to cause a split.
