God does a poor job of Shepparding His flock! God is rich. He shouldn't walk pass the starving person without feeding them.

He shouldn't walk past a child getting molested, tortured, or murdered and have all the ability to help and choose not to. It doesn't cost God anything to Help. So I struggle with hatred for God.

But I pray I'll get better.
God bless you!

My own father, an atheist has made the same argument! But, my dad is very well off. He lives on, and owns an island he got through the fortunes he has made. He never gave any of his family anything! We had to earn it like he did! According to his philosophy "anyone who doesn't help themselves is a bum"!

But, he blames God ("if there is one") that people are dying of starvation!

Not only is God a bum...but those unfortunates that can't help themselves too! LOL! He's covered all bases of his conscience! He can't lose thinking that way!

Do you...like myself see the multilevel hypocrisy in his statements?

According to Jesus, (Matt 25:35) He is the; sick, the poor, and the helpless.

God has given us everything we need to help one another.

Yet, we are the ones that walk past. God bless you too! I will also pray that you will not struggle with hatred.... for anyone.

I don't know if I can see the hypocrisy because I don't know your Dad or the context of those statements.

Yes Christ suffers in the poor.

No God doesn't give us everything we need to help one another. Otherwise He would have told the police that Ted Bundy (Charming Respectable educated gentleman) was killing all those innocent young women.

God would have helped the detention officers and police prevent him from escaping from jail or catch him before ruining even more lives but instead God left them in the dark.

This is just one of billions of examples. God doesn't give us everything. He should give us understanding, open eyes, sanity, stability, control of our passions, end to confusion, answers, prudence, wisdom etc.

I pray for those virtues and he refuses to give them to me. IF I had those virtues I could help SAVE THE WORLD! Devil

If you guys have the sacrament of confession and the body and blood of Jesus Christ you should be different. Show that the Sacraments actually do you some good.

I was joking. My apologies if it came accross as mockery.

No, you seem exceptionally virtuous for an atheist that is all but that also shows my ignorance. My apologies. Sad

I'm not virtuous. I just believe in treating people as I'd like to be treated.

Naaaap! U just contradicted yourself, princess! Charity (the golden rule) is the greatest of all Theological and secular virtues.
