I talked with my mum about it and apparently they only wore those wierd clothes on special occasions. Ordinary services, the women wore just 'ordinary' conservative dress and shawls, and the men suits.
The rules and prohibitions of the Laestadians are practically identical to verything the girls weren't allowed to do. Or however you want to put it...
