Haven't visited any new gardens lately but I am working on a new section of my own garden. This is in our side yard, alongside the driveway between the house and the creek. Originally we wanted to have a natural-like meadow garden, of the sort we saw at Great Dixter in England. But that turned out to require more upkeep than all the rest of the garden combined.

So for the last year I've been trucking in dirt, rocks and -of course- plants to create a natural, open area. Here are some in-process shots from a month or two ago.
