The fastest space craft to leave solar system - Voyager 1 - is leaving solar system at 14.15km/s (only 14150m/s). Voyager I will cover 500 light years in a mere 8 million years.

8 million years is a blink of the eye in the history of the earth, being such an insignificant span of time that is it not even 1500 times as long as xtains thought how long the universe had existed.
