Men are generally bigger and stronger than women. It's assumed a man could defend himself if he wanted to, but that assumption can't be made about women.

2. Some of your points are valid, but guess what - women have been discriminated against for centuries. If occasionally they are favored to try to even the playing field a little, that's OK by me. Man up and deal with it!
