I know you were being facetious, but I still have to say I like to have the seat and lid always down on the toilet. I have never accidentally sat when the seat is up. I always check out the toilet before I sit (probably because there was a snake in a toilet once when I was a kid and I now have a fear of sitting on a toilet without checking for snakes 
).
The reason I insist is because it makes the bathroom look nicer.
And also I prefer to be slapped on the ass for being cheeky not the mouth.
