I would hate living forever. It would be kinda a lonely experience. I'd like to live maybe one or two lifetimes, but not forever, that sounds dreadful.
I've learned something from science fiction: the idea of wanting to live forever in itself can sound pleasurable, but actually living it out would be very scaring. Seeing all the people you love die, etc.

Just my two cents there.
