When did I say that? When did I say we should not pay attention to psychological studies?

Oh, I'm sorry. You heard it from a psychologist? Well then it must be true!

Why do you think psychologist words count more? Why do you think they say that in the first place? They say it because that's the conclusion that the studies have shown.

Go ahead and show me one so that I can give it due consideration.

Emmm if you say that you are open to take in consideration what studies say. Why do you get picky? Many studies claim that however I have the feeling that it's gonna take me a while to find a study that you won't object for.

I was responding to a guy who said some psychologist told him that rapes are about power and control.

I said that as well.I made a list of the elements and causes of rape and power and control was among them. Check it out if you want in the previous posts if you don't believe me.

One psychologist's say so is not compelling evidence. A large amount of psychological studies on the subject might have some say in it, but as of yet nothing about such has been posted in this thread. I'd be interested to see the statistics on how many rapes occur whilst intoxicated too, as that could go a long way to throwing doubt on this whole idea. I flat out call bullshit on this claim.

The reason why he and I concur it's because it is what they say in many studies.

That one of the causes of rapists desires comes from the feeling of gaining power because they feel emasculated by a member of the opposite sex.

And if you don't believe us(because I have the feeling that your not gonna just accept what I said)that's up to you.However I'm not gonna start looking studies that you can search perfectly by yourself just because you don't believe me. I'm not your lackey.

There are a lot of studies about school bullies, kleptomaniacs, nymphomaniacs and claustrophobic as well. And to be honest I don't think that to understand the patients one has to start doing those activities as well.
