I was responding to a guy who said some psychologist told him that rapes are about power and control. As though that is definitely the case. Bullshit. That's talking out your arse if I ever saw it. There is not conclusive evidence for the claim he made. One psychologist's say so is not compelling evidence. A large amount of psychological studies on the subject might have some say in it, but as of yet nothing about such has been posted in this thread. I'd be interested to see the statistics on how many rapes occur whilst intoxicated too, as that could go a long way to throwing doubt on this whole idea. I flat out call bullshit on this claim.
