Well, the risk involved for "our guy" is much higher in the case of the F-18 pilot than it is for the operator sitting in some air-conditioned Arizona bunker snacking on potato chips, killing people on a screen with the touch of a few buttons. Drones make war clean and easy, and I fear, more acceptable.
