Gay pair to adopt children of unfit Catholic parents

On every other subject, two parents are always better than one.

I hate to be controversial but I disagree with this statement.

So do I: clearly, half a parent is superior.

Why even bother here, though? People aren't all going to fit into neat categories; some single parent families are going to be vastly superior to some couples, some trio parent structures are going to be better than either, and some gay parents will be better (and worse!) still.

We should refuse to get caught up in conversations like this, because they serve no purpose as an indicator of reality. All they do is give people like Mehmet a chance to point out individual cases of wrongdoing by gay parents (or anything else that he personally disagrees with) and insinuate that they're emblematic of the whole. Don't fall victim to the fallacies.
