I will make you dwell in the earth below, as in ancient ruins, with those who go down to the pit, and you will not return or take your place[c] in the land of the living. 21 I will bring you to a horrible end and you will be no more. You will be sought, but you will never again be found, declares the Sovereign Lord.”
Yet...it still remains and even in the apologetic nonsense that you posted all they can do is make excuses for why god is such a fuck up. Truly, gods should be made of sterner stuff!
You know. I bet I could go to Lebanon and buy a T-Shirt that says "I went to Tyre, Lebanon and got this lousy t-shirt because they are still fucking here to sell them!"
And the xtians will shriek and gnash their teeth and beat their breasts but Tyre remains.
Fuck them all.
Tyre is described as being in the Garden of Eden. It's king ticked off the Emperor and was exiled. It's probably where the Adam and Eve story came from.
One of the commandments is that the people shouldn't eat shellfish. That doesn't make sense for a bunch of desert goat ropers since they wouldn't have access to shrimp and lobster. It could have been an economic sanction against the Tyre fishermen as a punishment for their king's action of collaborating with the enemy.
