No need for Photoshop, with most video editing software you can overlay other video clips. You just film the main one (sleeping guy, covers pulled off out of frame) then a second with somebody walking in front of the camera. Set the 2nd over the first and make it say 80-90% transparent and boom, ghostly figure. It's why you don't see the figure until the covers are gone, you want the scene to be as similar as possible to stop weird blurs and colour issues.
