You are not being oppressed, at least in most places in the world, it's the other way around. What is the worst an atheist (or even anti theist) will do? Write a few books criticizing religion and promoting critical thinking? Making public statements? Nothing more than that. Of course there will be a handful of atheists that will defend banning religion (completely stupid proposition from a legal perspective since we can't control what people think or believe in) or executing religious people, but those are a minority and I do not corroborate with their views. Why do Christians discriminate atheists? Why do they keep saying 'believe or go to hell?'? And why do they keep wanting to influence laws because of their religion? Seriously any sane person should promote secularism, theist or atheist, you should fight for people to have rights, not to have rights based on your religion
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you
