(June 28, 2014 at 5:24 am)Knowledge of God Wrote: Ecclessiastes 2;26 To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind. But every human is a sinner, yes? Then no person is able to please god, and thus none have wisdom, knowledge, happiness. Everyone is simply storing up wealth to give to no one.
Why would you think that quoting such a vacuous text would mean anything to us?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
