Most Christians are good people who don't intentionally lie, I don't blame them one bit.

Well the only reasons to not be guilty or responsible for your actions, from a criminal law perspective, are either a mental illness or as a result of age (minors can't be guilty). I guess the only way to make an indoctrinated Christian not guilty or responsible would be to consider such person mentally ill.
