That's my point and is a significant consideration when discussing minimum wage. Sweden doesn't need a minimum wage because the unions help to ensure a living wage. For this reason, Sweden's lack of a minimum wage cannot be used as an argument for eliminating or not raising the U.S. minimum wage.
