I mean, we don't need people making 100$+ an hour for jobs that lots of time anyone can do (non-specialty jobs) while others can not even afford to pay their bills working full time doing hard work. Maybe that makes me a commie or a socialist but I hardly see how the system now benefits the common man, what we have now benefits the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer and have a harder time moving up.

I think maximum wage is a good idea in public jobs, in private you have no right to interfere with people's wages, I could be making 1 Million a month as long as I pay workers and support the costs of production. That's why it's called the free market.

I've seen different figures for different regions of the country.
But to reach the current levels of inflation it looks like it has to be raise to 17$-22$ an hour. But the 10$-15$ would be at least be a reasonable start.
I'm gonna calculate that per month... 15x30=450$... It's still lower than my poor country, how can you guys live with this? But I don't know what the cost of living is in the US, I guess it varies from State to State.
