I think that one reason that religion is waning around the world is that they are no longer able to effectively silence those who speak against it or reveal its deficiencies. Censoring religion isn't the answer. On the contrary, I think we will move past religion more quickly if we allow religious people to continue to express their beliefs in an environment where no view is censored, including opposing views.

People like the OP show what the effect is of allowing others to speak. He isn't even bothering to try to promote or defend his belief system, he is clumsily trying to present it as a least-harmful option. That's what happens when people like him can no longer silence dissenting voices. I say, let them speak; they can't get their feet into their mouths unless they open them first.

No you are completely right. I never approve of censorship. Just wanted to state disdain for the stupidity of the posts. Should have stated it a different way.
