A person who believes in atheism is less motivated in life, less likely to start a family, less likely to try hard in his career, less likely to do what it takes to support a family and be a positive contribution to his community.
Also, atheism is a major contributor to such social issues as domestic abuse, child abuse, alcoholism, drug abuse, and crimes of moral turpitude.
Atheist marriages are less stable and more likely to break up when Christians, especially Catholics, will stick things through and make it work.
Atheism actually has no positive effect on society, and for that reason should be discouraged.
This is a joke, obviously... but I love a good rant, so here goes...
Many atheists, believing this life is a brief miracle, try to make the MOST out of it... Sure, there are lazy atheists and there are ambitious atheists, but your argument is comically unfounded.
If you had any statistical references in respect to the belief systems of those in the lower to middle class you would be aware that views are resoundingly theist.
According to a 2010 study in the United States, those of Christian affiliation were among the lowest income demographic.

Also, I love a good joke, but don't make me choke on my lunch. I'm only going to get one life here.
The gods offer no rewards for intellect. There was never one yet that showed any interest in it.
