What I am asking of you is to voice what you feel should be included in my writing. What kind of topics should I include, what sources do you hand that I could site and utilize?
Current news and events are always a example of how religion and mental illness are very much alike. Religious scriptures have already been refuted or diminished thanks to our modern age science and understanding. And naming religious atrocities in the past even when it helps people can always use the "yeah but that was back then our times are different". But when you mention actual current events with people that live among us in our times that my friend HELPS A LOT. Because people can't say "its because they were uneducated", nor "is because they were superstitious".
There are multiple issues where religious people do crazy stuff , that you can use as an example of metal illness.
