I've had extremely limited contact with the contemporary AIDS, um, I'm not supposed to say the word 'lifestyle', so let's just say mise en scene, so I am a bit befuddled by the poster.
The guy is hot enough, despite being 80 pounds and 30 years shy of what I'm aiming for these days, so I'll grant the ad will garner notice among the target audience.
And it will probably sail over the head of everyone else, and, sigh, me.
My specific situation is probably why I 'don't get it'. Most everyone I knew from 'back in the day' that was HIV+ died. I know HIV+ people today, but they are all of my acquaint in later life.
