I've been thinking since yesterday morning about how if I live to be around 80 then that means I'm already around a quarter through my life span. And it has already went so fucking quick.... I have so little time!!
I think there's something I hate about life and that's that: Sometimes the unhealthy things that you shouldn't be doing make life worthwhile, and sometimes the healthy things prolong your life but they aren't enjoyable. And what's the point in prolonging it if you don't enjoy it?
Since life is short anyway, I'd much rather have a great life and live to 40 than a shit one and live to 80 (for example) - although to have both would be great of course.
I've been thinking about how the most enjoyable days of my life was when I was addicted to gaming and spent every day inside a game. I also put on weight and didn't go out much to exercise or socialize. Yet I was really happy.
Now I socialize a lot more, I have lost lots of weight and wouldn't really want to gain or lose any (Wii Fit put me only a few decimal points away from ideal BMI for whatever it's worth). I also go out a lot more in the sense that I actually go out a few times a week rather than basically not at all.
However, I enjoy life so much less than when I was a complete and total loser. And since life is so short then perhaps it would be better wasted away if wasted happens to be so much more enjoyable
So sometimes it seems to be health vs happiness, I can't have both.
Anyway I've said my piece for anyone even remotely interested lol.
