And I prefer hearing your explanation instead of just searching on google, because the internet is full of liesThe vast majority of "regular" Christians are conservatives. THEY are the people that you are probably most familiar with - the bigoted, "Holier Than Thou" - "better than everyone else" people.
The few liberals that there are, are less judgmental towards others. I don't claim that atheists are going to Hell. I can't even say where my soul will go. Since it is my assumption that God makes everyone, including homosexuals, I don't go around screaming that they will be going to Hell - or women who have had abortions.
According to His teachings, Jesus Christ was/is a liberal - but the conservatives refuse to believe it. His attitude towards atheists, Muslims, Jews, women who have had abortions, etc., would be much more lenient than it is by these conservatives. It is also my belief that the phrase "conservative Christian" is an oxymoron. A person is either a conservative or he is a Christian. It is IMPOSSIBLE to be both.
I don't expect you to agree with anything that I have said - but you did ask.
To another poster who said that it was unlikely that he was going to remember anything that I have written, it is amazing how much the brain retains, even when we don't want it to.
