Quote:First I'll start by giving you the play back from the horses mouth:You'll notice that after you made your suspicion clear no one was sure if he was in fact an anime fan. He said that AFTER I replied to you so the relevance of that quote is zero.
Quote:Then I'll close with an explanation of why you are wrong. I am not making a claim that all people that who want to live in a fantasy are anime fans. For me to make that claim would be absurd. For you to think that is...well I'm gonna try play nice so I won't hurt your feelings.Hurt my feelings? Why? Play nice?
Quote:My analysis was strictly based on this case. I read what the man wrote and I started think. This thinking led me to suspect a few things. Among these things was anime. Turns out I hit the nail on the head. You shouldn't be trying to prove me wrong. You should be asking me for my autograph. You should also stop projecting.I don't think you're wrong or right. I was just saying we weren't sure of what the cause was. I though about anime too but not only, videogames were also in my mind, in fact I spent a phase of my teenager years like the OP because of videogames.
It's true that anime isn't the only cause, but it could be, I was merely pointing out before the OP made the statement that he was an anime fan you were already assuming it was because of it
As an anime fan, anime has made me accept reality more, not run away from it. Just like it happens with video games.
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you
