Lol!
I gotta tell you, I got hooked to Orbital's Music once I heard Halcyon On and On.
http://www.loopz.co.uk Orbital's website. They disbanded in 2004. They started in 1989.
1989-2004. They are an Electronica Duo. One of the bands considered responsible to bring 'Acid House' to the UK. They also did film soundtracks and make very enigmatic sounding music.
They are two brothers Paul and Phil Hartnoll. P&P Hartnoll.
Paul now does music on his own and Phil is in a band with Nick Smith (who did the music to the opening credits to Hannibal).
The band is called Long Range. The song above Madness and Me, as you can see - is by Long Range.
In august 2009 Orbital are reforming to play together, they are headlining at The Big Chill. It will have been 20 years since they released their first song Chime in 1989.
I so hope I can afford to go. The tickets were on sale from december 1st this year. Its pretty expensive, but worth it! I never saw Orbital live sadly because I first heard about them in 2005 a year after they disbanded.
So I hope I will get to see them! I've seen Phil Hartnoll DJ in London once. And seen Long Range in London once. That was of course a lot cheaper than when Orbital will play when they headline the Big Chill! I can't remember how much it cost. But it wasn't as much as the tickets are for the Orbital performance. Which REALLY want to see (and hear of course!).
