Ah. I've heard of this kind of thing happening before. Some mother duck easily walks over a grate while her babies fall through. It's good when someone comes to help.

And then the mother hops over the curb, where the babies have trouble getting over. If it isn't one thing, it's another.

It just goes to show - ducks may be cute, but they aren't very smart.
