Personally, I have no idea who the two named women are, nor do I particularly give a flying fuck. Nor do I have a solid opinion as to whether the story is legit, or a publicity stunt, and again, I have no flying fucks to give. Celebrity isn't something I care about. Oh, and I'm American.
That being said, having an expectation of privacy in the cloud is a bit naive, but if the release of the photos in question was done by someone not authorized to do so - well, that's a douchebag move, and I can certainly understand why someone would be peeved, and they're not at fault, even though they didn't take reasonable precautions to protect their shit.
As for doing it as a publicity stunt a) also a douchebag move, but not the same magnitude and b) I still have no fucks to give for celebrities.
