I tend to think that the simpler, the better is the way to go (KISS principle, Occam's Razor sort of stuff), so I'll salute your effort as an honest one...and then reject it as overly complex.
If you have any belief in a god, no matter WHICH, you are theist; if not, you are atheist. Agnostic has ZERO to do with belief, it's a position of KNOWLEDGE. Since no PROOF has come forth either way -- otherwise we'd be OVER needing to believe -- we're ALL agnostic. This is my stance. Agree or disagree as you will.
Because I spent SO MANY YEARS with faith as a "required facet of my being", indoctrinated practically from BIRTH, there's still a little piece of my brain that hangs onto the 'god concept', but it's not something I entertain. For myself, at least, regressing into that belief would be moral cowardice. NONE of it makes sense to me anymore.
