You misunderstand the intent of my post.
All sides in any issue believe their side is the right side. That is inherently the nature of having knowledge and beliefs. The difference is I don't contest another side's right to claim to be right. (Which is different from contesting the merits of the positions, opinions, beliefs, and the accuracy of facts in question.)
It is no double standard to claim certain ideas true and others false.

I believe differently, but you have proclaimed yourself right and me wrong. Isn't that something you said you shouldn't do?
