You should not speak of that which you do not know of yourself.
The maturity of this forum is exactly what I had anticipated it to be, a lack of intellectual thought resides here. A lack of critical thinking, such was it in the case where JesusHChrist presented me with misinformation and I had to correct him.
We were also suffering from a lack of self-righteous assholes until you showed up. Thanks for filling in that gap.

At least he tried. Where have YOUR sources been, you hypocrite?

I expect your time will be wasted no matter where you go. That's a nearly universal experience for smarmy little pricks.

I hope you will eventually understand the futility of behaving like an ass and expecting to not be treated like one.

Yet you can't bring yourself to model the behavior you're trying to demand from us. As I said: hypocrite.

If you were truly concerned about wanting to have an intellectual discussion with someone on religion you would know that people are not well receptive to being said that they are wrong, least of all having their thoughts called stupid, ignorant, or the like.
Yet, that is the tack you choose to take with us.
(September 16, 2014 at 11:41 pm)Celestine Wrote: When I came here you even posted a indecent picture of the muslim prophet, how well do you think the muslims would see that?
The better question is 'how should they see it?' There are plenty of Muslims who don't think nonMuslims have to abide by their rules.
(September 16, 2014 at 11:41 pm)Celestine Wrote: Do you think that posting such pictures would change their minds?
Seems unlikely to reach more Muslims than post on this atheism forum. Hopefully it will help to desensitize the ones who do hang out here. Did any Muslims object?
(September 16, 2014 at 11:41 pm)Celestine Wrote: Or do you think that it would enrage them to see you being so disrespectful? How can you expect disrespect to change their minds?
Toleration of disrespect is exactly what someone who is enraged by it needs to learn. We all need to learn how to handle conflict like grown-ups at some point if we are to have a civilized society.

I don't blaspheme Mohammed myself, but no one should refrain from exercising their free speech right of satire, PARTICULARLY if the group being satired is likely to react with rage. Rage is an inappropriate response, and that button needs to be pressed until it's worn smooth.

Yet, religion has declined in America more in the last 15 years than in the previous twenty when we were assiduously minding our own business. Seems like the change in tactics has been effective to me, using your quaint conflation of 'militant' with 'outspoken'.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
