The maturity of this forum is exactly what I had anticipated it to be, a lack of intellectual thought resides here. A lack of critical thinking, such was it in the case where JesusHChrist presented me with misinformation and I had to correct him.

The better question is 'how should they see it?' There are plenty of Muslims who don't think nonMuslims have to abide by their rules.

Toleration of disrespect is exactly what someone who is enraged by it needs to learn. We all need to learn how to handle conflict like grown-ups at some point if we are to have a civilized society.

You ought to feel shame for the way you have acted, I have seen children that acted more mature than what I have seen on this forum.

I don't blaspheme Mohammed myself, but no one should refrain from exercising their free speech right of satire, PARTICULARLY if the group being satired is likely to react with rage. Rage is an inappropriate response, and that button needs to be pressed until it's worn smooth.

What is wrong with adding gasoline to the fire? By militant I mean the utter lack of respect and maturity offered by either side in a discussion.

Yet, religion has declined in America more in the last 15 years than in the previous twenty when we were assiduously minding our own business. Seems like the change in tactics has been effective to me, using your quaint conflation of 'militant' with 'outspoken'.
