Sure it's normal...but many Chrisitans tell us they have no doubt they're going to a place infinitely better than here. Taking too much trouble to avoid death seems like putting off a dream vacation because you'll have to get shots first.

No. Christians have been losing their lives for the faith since the beginning of christianity. Even non-christian soldiers give up their lives in battle because it's their job. Police and firemen do too. I just don't agree with the assertions here that christians are terrified of dying.
