Because Jimmy Savile died three years ago. That and he was 84 when he died. Maybe in 1995.
Although, here's a thought: Wouldn't it have been shocking if someone somehow buggered Jimmy Savile to death, confessed to the crime and exposed the guy's track record as a rapist back then? There's a story in there somewhere.
