Atheism = Desperation

The scientific method and belief in an unproven premise are not compatible. If you think you are religious and scientific then either (a) you're not really scientific or (b) you are not applying your scientific reasoning correctly to religion. Just looking around and coming to conclusions based on emotions or a lack of better understanding is not scientific.

I'm more than happy to be proved wrong as always, it's just that no proof has ever been forthcoming. Not even a whiff of a proof.

Is not believing the world was created yesterday by a 700ft invisible zebra desperation as well? Atheism is really simple, so much so that everyone seems to want to add their own spin on what it "actually" is.

And attacking atheism does not make any other point of view any more correct, it's pure deflection from owning the burden of proof.
