My evidence for God it's most definitely NOT scientific Brian. For subjects within the scope of science, I use science exclusively.
BINGO.........So if you admit and agree that your "evidence" is not scientific then all you have are your feelings.
And yes science DOES fill gaps. That is how it works, when scientists run into something they do not understand, they study it with methods and formulas already established and keep repeating the process and tweaking it until they do fill that gap. Then when they think they have something, they turn it over for peer review to see if what they gave as the answer to fill that gap is confirmed. If it is not confirmed they repeat the process. If it gets confirmed then the entire world has universal knowledge that all of the scientific community can use.
