Yes, because they put pictures of themselves on the internet. If someone has the time and effort to put into it, they can hack computers and find out this and that. It's pretty simple, really (if you're good at hacking, which I know some people are). If you take a recent picture of someone, and are able to match it to someone, then you can do whatever you want, really.

More so than the threat of people you pass by or know in real life? It seems that the ones you meet in real life would have an easier time either attacking right then or following you, etc. On the computer, it's a little harder, especially if you are extra careful with your passwords and virus protection etc.

Hey, I see the Jodie Foster resemblence too. I always liked her in movies, but I can't remember offhand what she was in. Maybe I'll go to imdb.com later and check.
