Yahweh doesn't give you the freedom to think what you want to. The bible repeatedly says thoughts are as bad as actions. Thou shalt not covet, and if thou lookest at a woman with lust, thou hast already committedeth it in thy heart.
And if you believe the wrong thing, it's off into the oven with you, 425ºF for eternity. I don't know if they ever poke you with a fork to see if you're done.
